| Imagine my surprise when I woke up to four inches of snow yesterday and no power! Fun getting ready for work!
Well, school's out and a new phase has begun. Lord willing I will be headed to Central Asia to help with some summer camps for an orphanage and then on to Russia for a couple of weeks to see people that I haven't seen for three years! I am excited about what the Lord has in store.
Cool Word study - 1 Peter 1:7 The trying of our Faith is more precious than gold, which perisheth, though it be by fire, that it might be found.... Check out the word that it "might be found" Pretty cool in the context!

| It certainly doesn't seem like more than a month since I last wrote, but it has been. Where have I been? Doing homework and more homework and more homework. Guess where I'm headed. To do MORE homework! Happy day! Thanks for prayers for our neighbor. Strangely enough, all this time has gone by and we have not heard one word from him. Haven't seen him. They tore the house down and are going to put up a modular. Such a strange situation. Well, one more week before spring break! And so much to do before we get there! Then it's off to Lindsay's Wedding! Yeah!

| I don't have much time. We're having our missions conference at church this week. And I need to get headed in that direction. That is my first request, please pray that the Lord would really work in our midst.
My primary request is for my neighbor. I don't even know his name. He never talks. But he came home drunk last night about 11:00 and we ended up having to call the police. His friends got him settled down before the police got there, so the officers basically just came and went. But then at 1:30 this morning the lady that I rent from went to the window to see his house completely engulfed in flames. He got out. Praise the Lord, but there wasn't much left to his house. Please pray 1) for his salvation and 2) for him as he is going through this very difficult time.
Gotta run.

| Well, Here I am - again! One of the guys that works here looked at me the other day with a look of great pity on his face and said, "You know you have a problem don't you?" I couldn't figure out what he was talking about. He proceeded to explain that anyone who shows up here as often as I do, must be addicted. I told him I was just addicted to getting my homework done!
Well, the new semester is in full swing! 20 credit hours this semester. I must be insane. Then to top it off our first class of the week has had between 80 and 170 pages of reading the last two weeks! That's a lot for one class! Six term papers this semester, one of them massive (putting to use everything we have learned in Greek over the last 3 Semesters, an exigesis project. I forget now what passage it is over - obviously I haven't started it yet.)
We start our missions conference on Wednesday. I'm looking forward to it.
Two of the girls from the class that I teach on Sunday afternoons are moving to CA. But they made the decision that they want to be baptized before they go. They have actually both wanted to be baptized for a long time, but for some reason it has always fallen through. Their parents are supposed to come - please pray that they will hear the gospel with understanding. They have told me before that they know it is not good to just send their children to church. Please pray that they would see their need for Christ and call upon Him for salvation.
Well, my homework is waiting!

| Wew! Test over , Russian classes taught, Lunch being eaten - all that remains is the beautifully, an hopefully not too snowy, drive through the Wolf Creek Canyon to Helena, where my sister lives, for a short visit before school starts on Monday. Okay, I'm not being real specific about what the future holds, because there are several things that I'm just not real sure about. But I did want to tell everyone, that the Lord answered a very definite prayer this week and I may have learned of someone who can give specific counsel in a certain area (of which I know nothing!). Praise the Lord! Well, I better scoot, I want to be to Helena before it starts getting dark, and thus colder and icier. (Is that a word?)
